The WHAC Bowling Championships were hosted by Indiana Tech at ProBowl West. Competing on the 2012 European Men’s Championship lane pattern, the tournament format was 12 Baker games (in sets of 2), then a cut to the Top four teams for match play.
The AHIBC Championships were held on Sunday at Beaver-Vu Lanes. There were 21 Varsity and 12 JV Men’s team bowling. For the Varsity event, 20 Bakers games were bowled by the teams, then the field was cut to the top eight teams. The final eight teams were split into two groups of four teams. An additional four Baker games were bowled (scores were reset to zero) and the top two team in each group advanced to bowl another four games and the top two teams went on to bowl each other for the championship.
The Saints wrapped up the 2012-18 regular season by competing in the 2018 Hoosier Classic. The two-day event consists of six team games on Saturday, then 15 Baker games on Sunday. The top eight teams them compete in match play. The lane patterns bowled on are created by the managing company of the tournament, H2M Management, and are released an hour before tournament play begins. The scoring is always fair, but difficult.
The Siena Heights men's bowling team tavelled to compete in the last WHAC Jamboree of the season, hosted by Indiana Tech at Thunder Bowl No. 1. The oil pattern was the 2015 European Youth Championships and scores were high.
At the American Heartland Conference Tournament No. 4, held at Stonehedge Entertainment Center, the Saints men struggled on the 37 ft. Short #5 pattern and finished 20th in the 27-team field with a total score of 6,076. Davenport won the event with a score of 7,109. The format for the tournament was four team games and 16 Baker games.
At the American Heartland Conference Tournament No. 3, held at Stonehedge Entertainment Center in Akron, Ohio, the Saints finished 7th in the 27-team field. With the format of five team games and 12 Baker games, Siena Heights had a total pinfall of 7,126. Wright State won the event with a score of 7,691. The teams competed on a 41 ft. Sports Pattern.
The Siena Heights Men’s bowling team traveled to Grandville, MI to compete in the WHAC 3 Jamboree at Fairlanes on Saturday. The team totaled 6,859 pins and finished 6th in the ten team field. The oil pattern for this tournament was from the 2014 European Champions Cup; it had a length of 40 feet.
The Saints’ Men’s bowling team traveled to Jackson, Mich. to compete in the WHAC 2 Jamboree at Airport Lanes on Saturday. The team finished 3rd in the ten team field. The oil pattern for this tournament was from the 2015 European Champions Cup; it had a length of 39 feet.
Siena Heights men's bowler Steven Cadwell was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league, on Monday.
The Saints competed at the Adrian College Open on Saturday at Lenawee Recreation Center. Competing against 11 other teams, the men finished 5th in the twelve-team field.
The Siena Heights men's bowling team opened American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference action with a ninth place finish and 12th place finish at AHIBC Jamboree No. 1 and 2, respectively.

The Siena Heights men's bowling team competed in their own, Siena Heights Halo Classic at Lenawee Recreation Bowling Center and won it's first ever tournament in program history.
The Siena Heights men's bowling team was picked sixth in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Coaches Preseason Ratings. Last season, the Saints finished last season with a fifth place finish in the WHAC.
