BEAVERCREEK, Ohio -- The AHIBC Championships were held on Sunday at Beaver-Vu Lanes. There were 21 Varsity and 12 JV Men's team bowling. For the Varsity event, 20 Bakers games were bowled by the teams, then the field was cut to the top eight teams. The final eight teams were split into two groups of four teams. An additional four Baker games were bowled (scores were reset to zero) and the top two team in each group advanced to bowl another four games and the top two teams went on to bowl each other for the championship.
The Saints bowled Baker sets of: 655, 798, 770, 743, 706 for a total of 3672. This was enough for 14th place and the team finished outside of the top eight. \
Next up, SHU travels to Ft. Wayne, Ind. on Saturday, Mar. 3, for the WHAC Championships with a trip to the NAIA Invitational on the line. The tournament starts at 11:00am.
