Women's 4x400, Gardner and Moore Earn All-American Status at the 2018 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships - Day 3

PITTSBURGH, Kan. – The Siena Heights women's track and field 4x400m relay, Asia Gardner and Alexis Moore each earned NAIA All-American status in the final day of action at the 2018 NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships, on Saturday. Overall, the Saints finished in eighth place with a total of 27 points.

The Saints 4x400 meter relay team consisted of Tyriah Pryor, Delaney Stersic, Brianna Pekel and Megan Rosales. SHU crossed the finish line at 3:51.95 earning third place and All-American status while breaking the Siena Heights record the team set on Thursday at this meet. SHU also beat Indiana Tech who finished fourth in the 4x400m relay in 3:52.23.

Earning All-American status in both the 60m dash and the 200m dash was Asia Gardner. She took sixth in the 60m with a time of 7.67 seconds. In the 200m dash, Gardner crossed the finish line in 25.19 seconds.

Alexis Moore finished eighth in the 400m dash with a time of 58.04 seconds, which earned her All-American status.

Also competing was Haley Hudson in the shot put, Charlena Williams in the triple jump, Rachel O'Neill in the weight throw and Mildrenae Young-Brooks in the long jump.

Overall, Siena Heights finished with a National Champion, Tasha McKinley, and eight individual All-Americans in five different events.

Siena Heights will begin the outdoor track and field season at the end of March.
