Upcoming for Saints Men's Volleyball: The 3-seeded Saints will face the 2-seeded Indiana Tech Warriors in the semifinal round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) on Friday. The winner of the match will face the victor of the 1 vs. 4 matchup between Lourdes and Goshen.
Head Coach: Chris McKim led the Saints to an 11-6 record in his first season at the helm of the program.
On Neutral Ground: Siena has played one match on a neutral floor this season. The result of that match was a 3-1 loss to William Penn.
Career Milestones: Keegan Crawford finished the year by achieving a career milestone of 4,000 assists. He reached the mark in the final match of the regular season against Mount Vernon Nazarene. He currently sits at 4,007 assists.
WHAC Tournament: Siena's only appearance in the WHAC tournament was in the inaugural group in 2019. The Saints fell in the semifinal round to Aquinas, 3-0. The 2020 tournament was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Players of the Week: Alex Garavalia was crowned WHAC attacker of the week on February 15, 2021. He was joined by Keegan Crawford, setter of the week, during that same date. Crawford hauled in a second WHAC setter of the week honor a month later on March 15. He added an NAIA setter of the week distinction the following day on March 16.
Joudiel Poveymirow earned two WHAC defensive player of the week awards this season (March 1 & 15). On March 16 he added an NAIA defensive player of the week honor to his list of accomplishments.
Last Week Recap: SHU 3, Aquinas 0
The Saints (10-5 overall, 6-4 WHAC) swept Aquinas 3-0 Tuesday in conference action, 26-24, 25-18, 25-19. Bryce Johnson had 15 kills, Keegan Crawford 33 assists and Joudiel Poveymirow 14 assists for SHU.
Indiana Tech 3, SHU 0
The Saints (10-6 overall, 6-5 WHAC) fell to Indiana Tech 3-0 Thursday in conference action, 25-20, 26-24, 25-19. Bryce Johnson had 13 kills, Keegan Crawford 28 assists and Joudiel Poveymirow 15 digs for SHU.
SHU 3, Mt. Vernon Nazarene 1
The Saints (11-6 overall, 7-5 WHAC) ended the regular season with a 3-1 win over Mt. Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) Saturday in conference action, 25-19, 25-23, 15-25, 25-23. Keegan Crawford finished with 40 assists, and currently has 4,007 for his career. Kevin Gomez had 18 kills and Joudiel Poveymirow 24 digs for SHU. The WHAC Tournament begins Friday.

Series History: Indiana Tech: The Saints are 2-1 all-time against the Warriors. The teams split the season series this year with the home team coming out victorious in both matchups. The Saints won the matchup in Adrian 3-1 while the Warriors won 3-0 last week at home against SHU.
