Crawford and Poveymirow Grab WHAC Weekly Awards

Siena Heights men's volleyball players Keegan Crawford and Joudiel Poveymirow were named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's volleyball setter and defender of the week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Crawford totaled 92 assists this week for an average of 11.50 assists per set. That mark is 1.1 assists higher than his current season average which ranks fifth in the NAIA.

Poveymirow recorded 40 digs in the two matches played by SHU this week. HIs NAIA-leading season average of digs per set is 4.43, this week's performance topped that with a 5.00 digs/set clip.

Both Crawford and Pobeymirow have won a WHAC weekly award this season. This is Crawford's third award of his career and second for Poveymirow.

The Saints face Lourdes on the road tomorrow for a WHAC matchup that is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., EST.
