Upcoming for Saints Men's Volleyball: The Saints begin the week with a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup at Aquinas on Tuesday evening. The week wraps with a non-conference home match nationally ranked St. Xavier on Saturday Afternoon.
Head Coach: Chris McKim is 5-4 so far in his first season as the head coach of the men's volleyball program.
Away from Home: The Saints have a 3-1 record on the road so far this season. The lone loss was a five-set defeat at the hands of #15 Goshen.
Saints at Home: SHU is 2-2 at home this season. The Saints are outscoring opponents in every set, except the fourth, inside the SHU Fieldhouse. The team's most dominant set is the third where the Saints are outscoring opponents 90-78. Overall, Siena Heights edges its opponents 344-332.
Playing Past Three: Five of the nine matches so far this season have gone to four sets. In those matchups, the Saints are 2-3 during 2021. Only one match this season has been pushed to five (3-2 loss at Goshen).
Approaching Milestones: Keegan Crawford is just 297 assists away from reaching 4,000 career assists and 192 digs from 1,000.
Last Week Recap: Saints Split at Cumberland
The Saints (5-4) split a pair of non-conference matches Friday, falling to William Penn 3-1 (14-25, 25-23, 25-8, 25-23) in the opener and then defeating host Cumberland (Tenn.) 3-0 (27-25, 25-14, 25-21). Alex Garavalia had 24 kills for the day, with Keegan Crawford adding 68 assists and Joudiel Poveymirow 26 digs for SHU.

Series History: Aquinas: Siena Heights is 0-6 against Aquinas since the two have been competing in men's volleyball. The Saints pushed AQ to five sets in the most recent matchup back in January 2020. Four of the six meetings have ended in three sets.
St. Xavier: This is the 21st meeting between Siena Heights and Saint Xavier in men's volleyball. The Cougars hold a slight 11-9 edge in the all-time series. The Saints are 4-3 at home against St. Xavier. The Cougars have won four of the last five matches, including the most recent meeting in the 2020 season when St. Xavier won 3-1 at home. The most recent win for Siena Heights came in the 2019 season when the Saints defeated the Cougars 3-1 on the road.
