Upcoming for Saints Men's Volleyball: The Saints begin the week with a road match against Thomas More in Kentucky on Tuesday before hosting Cornerstone in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) match the following night in the SHU Fieldhouse. The week finishes with a WHAC road meeting with No. 14 Goshen on Friday.
 
Head Coach: Chris McKim makes his coaching debut for the Saints after taking the reigns from Kim Berrington back in December of 2020.
 
Away from Home: The Saints' lone "away" match was against cross-town rival Adrian College on Saturday, February 13. Siena won the match 3-1. The trip to face Thomas More will be the first true road matchup for SHU this season.
 
Saints at Home: Siena is 1-2 at the SHU Fieldhouse so far in 2021. The most recent loss was to 4th-ranked Lourdes this past Sunday (Feb. 21).
 
Playing to Four: All four matches this season have ended in four sets. The Saints are 1-3 in the first set, 2-2 in the second, 3-1 in the third, and 2-2 in the fourth.
 
Third Set Is The Charm: The Saints are 3-1 this season in the third set. They are outscoring opponents by an average of 7.5 points in the third game of a match. 
 
Last Week Recap: SHU 3, Indiana Tech 1
The Saints upset 10th-ranked Indiana Tech Friday in conference action, 25-20, 31-29, 15-25, 25-23. Alex Garavalia had 16 kills and Keegan Crawford 50 assists for SHU.
 
Lourdes 3, SHU 1
The Saints (2-2 overall, 1-2 WHAC) dropped a 3-1 decision to fourth-ranked Lourdes Sunday in conference action, 25-21, 25-20, 16-25, 25-23. Alex Garavalia had 14 kills, Joudiel Poveymirow 12 digs and Jakob Pickett six blocks for SHU.
 
Series History: Thomas More: Siena Heights won the first meeting in straight sets between the two teams on March 2, 2019. That match also took place at Thomas More.
 
Cornerstone: This will be the first meeting between the Saints and Golden Eagles in men's volleyball. 
 
Goshen: Goshen and Siena Heights have met five times. Since the first meeting in 2018, the Saints have a 5-0 all-time record over the Leafs. Siena has never surrendered a set to Goshen as all five previous contests have been 3-0 wins for SHU.
 
Scouting Reports: Thomas More: The TMU Saints are led by Jan Nunez-Gonzalez with 27 kills (1.93 k/s). The setter, Mason Cobler, has 81 assists (6.75 a/s) and Conner Young leads in digs with 32 (2.29 d/s).
 
Cornerstone: Cade Meza and Logan Chagdes lead the Golden Eagles in kills with 43. Maximiliano Hernandez leads Cornerstone in both assists (153) and digs (47).
 
Goshen: The Leafs are led on the attack by Alexander Rabadzheiv with 158 kills (3.16 k/s). Michael Wahl paces the offense with 547 assists (7.88 a/s) and Brayton Yoder leads the defense with 134 digs (2.68 d/s).
 
Siena Heights: Alex Garavalia leads SHU with 68 kills (4.25 k/s). Keegan Crawford has 166 assists (10.38 a/s) and Joudiel Poveymirow has totaled 61 digs (3.81 d/s).
