The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team has received a bid to the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association Tournament. As the sixth seed, the Saints (5-7) will take on three-seed Lawrence Tech in quarterfinal action on Saturday at Detroit Country Day School's indoor field. Opening face-off is set for 2 p.m.
The Blue Devils (7-3) won the previous meeting between the two teams -- a 10-9 contest on Apr. 9 at O'Laughlin Stadium. Lawrence finished with a 4-0 league record to win the CCLA North Division championship.
In other CClA Tournament competition, top-seed Dayton (12-1) will host eight-seed Aquinas (10-4); four-seed Grove City (9-3) will take on fifth-seed Indiana Tech (8-5); and two-seed Grand Valley State (8-2) is set to host seven-seed Lourdes (11-2).
