#1 Cornerstone Overwhelms Men's Basketball in WHAC Action

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team was overwhelmed by NAIA top-ranked Cornerstone, 93-48, in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Action, on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles (22-3, 14-1 WHAC) were in control of the game from the start, earning a halftime lead of 51-13 and never looking back.

SHU (11-13, 6-10 WHAC) was led by Luc Schumm with eight points as Carter Drazga and Keith Jordan Jr. each tallied six. With 17 points each for Cornerstone was Michael Bradshaw and Kyle Steigenga.

The Saints went 19-63 (30.2%) from the floor, 5-24 (20.8%) behind the arc and 5-13 (38.5%) at the line. CU shot 36-64 (56.3%) from the floor, 10-21 (47.6%) in three-point land and 10-14 (71.4%) from the charity stripe.

Next up, Siena Heights will travel to Lourdes (Ohio) for a 3 p.m. WHAC contest.
