Men's Basketball Hosts UNOH Prior to Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Game vs. LTU

THE GAMES
The Siena Heights men's basketball team is set to host two home contests, including Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday and Lawrence Tech, on Saturday, in the Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Game. The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference game are set for 8 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively. The contest against Lawrence Tech will have an admission fee of $5 as a donation to the Hickman Cancer Center, no passes will be accepted.

SHU is currently 8-12 overall with a 4-9 conference slate. As a team, the Saints hold a .456 shooting percentage from the floor, managing a a .316 three-point percentage and .688 free throw percentage as they average 68.9 points per game.

Northwestern Ohio sits at 11-11, 4-8 in the WHAC. Last time we met, Siena Heights won 65-63 in a close contest with help from a Josh Winowiecki double-double. The Racers average 76.5 points per game, holding a .453 field goal percentage, .350 three-point percentage and .757 free throw percentage.

Lawrence Tech holds and overall record of 3-16, including a 2-11 WHAC record. The Saints defeated LTU, 78-58, when the two teams met in December. The Blue Devils hae a field goal percentage of .438, three-point percentage of .343 and free throw percentage of .716.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
A strong player for the Saints all season has been Tony Jackson II, averaging 14.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game to lead SHU. Getting stronger this season is Keith Jordan Jr., earning 12.4 points per game and 5.5 boards a game. Winowiecki helps defensively with 5.8 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game. Nick Randle leads SHU with 3.1 assists per game.

Sadeeq Bello leads the Racers with an average of 16.3 points per game as he earns 3.3 assists per game. Earning 12.5 points per game is Corbin Pierce, also managing 5.1 rebounds a game. Willis Mackey Jr. earns 7.7 boards and 8.0 points per game to help UNOH.

With 16.6 points per game, the Blue Devils are led by Ty'rese Searles, also averaging 2.3 assists a game. Devonte Myles also helps LTU with 15.8 points per game and 2.7 assists and 6,9 boards a game.

NEXT UP
Siena Heights has three games next week, including the lone home contest against Akron-Wayne (Ohio) at 6 p.m. on Monday. SHU will then travel to WHAC opponents No. 1 Cornerstone and Lourdes, on Wednesday and Saturday, respectfully.
