LANSING, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team opened its season at Great Lakes Christian in a non-conference match-up. The Saints defeated the Lakes 74-43, on Wednesday.

Leading the Saints with 16 points was Jon Hovermale, close behind was Trevor Holston with 15 points.

Also scoring in double-digits for SHU (1-0) was Josh Winowiecki and Tony Jackson II with 11 points a piece.

Tishawn Cooper scored put up 14 points for the Lakes.
