ADRIAN, Mich. -- Stone Beckwith scored 12 points as Siena Heights' leading scorer, but the Saints' men's basketball team dropped a 64-49 contest to Lourdes (Ohio) in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action at the SHU Fieldhouse on Saturday.

Beckwith scored all of his points on three-pointers as he buried four from beyond the arc. Christian Covile added six rebounds for the Saints (10-18, 6-14).

Visiting Lourdes (16-12, 12-8) scored the game's first seven points and led the entire way. SHU eventually trimmed its deficit to 22-21 on a dunk by Jerrell Martin before Lourdes grabbed a 30-23 halftime lead.

The Saints pulled within five points early in the second half, but that's as close as the hosts would get as LU eventually pushed the gap to double-digits.

E.J. Blackwell was the Gray Wolves' leading scorer, finishing with 20 points. Zach Steinmetz added 15 points and 13 rebounds while Julian Johnson contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Lourdes held a 43-21 rebounding advantage over Siena Heights.

The Saints will return to action on Wednesday when it hosts Lawrence Tech for an 8 p.m. WHAC matchup.
