ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team exploded for 21 consecutive first-half points and led the rest of the way as the Saints reclaimed the Milk Jug with a 66-53 win over cross-town rival Adrian on Tuesday at the Merillat Gym.
Jamison Webster finished 16 points, Malachi Satterlee put in 11 and Christian Covile contributed 10 for the Saints (4-6), who turned a 16-13 deficit into a 34-16 lead during the first half. Jerrel Martin added 11 rebounds.
Webster buried a pair of 3-pointers during the 21-point run and from there on, the Saints held their lead in double-digits. SHU's largest lead was 23 points.
With the win, Siena Heights improved to 27-8 in the Milk Jug series.
SHU will return to action on Dec. 4 with a home contest against 10th-ranked Davenport.
