The Siena Heights women's volleyball team will look to build on its 17-2 overall and 7-1 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference record this week as they are set to face off against Lourdes on Wednesday, before heading to compete in the Aquinas/Cornerstone Classic. At the Classic, The Saints will take on Olivet Nazarene (Ill.), Cumberlands (Ky.), Taylor (Ind.) and Indiana-South Bend.

Last week SHU defeated Aquinas, 3-2 where they came back from down two sets to none, and then was victorious over Indiana Tech, 3-1.

Lourdes (15-7, 6-2 WHAC) finished last week 2-1, defeating Rochester and Northwestern Ohio, before falling to Marian (Ind.). In the Gray Wolves and Saints last meeting, SHU took the win 3-0 (Sept. 6).

Olivet Nazarene currently holds a 16-8 overall record. The Tigers are on a ten game win streak through last week and will look to extend their streak this week.

Cumberlands (11-8 overall) has won their last four consecutive games entering this week where they will face off against Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) before heading to the AQ/CU Classic.

Taylor is 16-10 overall and went 2-1 last week as they fell to No. 25 Marian before defeating both St. Francis and Spring Arbor.

Indiana-South Bend holds an 8-10 overall record through last week. Last time the Saints met the Titans, SHU won 3-2 (Sept. 9).

On Wednesday, the Saints will face off against WHAC opponent, Lourdes at 7 p.m. Friday, Siena Heights will take on Olivet Nazarene and Cumberlands at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. respectively. Saturday games will take place at 10 a.m. against Taylor and 1 p.m. against Indiana-South Bend.
