Upcoming for Saints Soccer: The Saints women's soccer team hits the road for two Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchups this week. Wednesday is a trip to Lawrence Tech for a 7:00 PM kickoff. The week finishes with a game at Madonna on Saturday with a start time of 2:30 PM.

The Current Streak: Siena Heights carries an unbeaten streak of eight games into the week as the team enjoys a 7-0-1 record since their last defeat on September 2.

Head Coach: In his 22 seasons as the head coach of the Siena Heights women's soccer program, Coach Scott Oliver has led the Saints to four Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular-season championships as well as five WHAC tournament titles. In this time, the Saints have also been to the NAIA tournament six times.

At Home: The Saints are 6-0 at home this season. They have outscored opponents 23-2 inside O'Laughlin Stadium.

On The Road: The Saints are 0-2-1 on the road this season. They opened 2022 with a tough test at Mount Vernon Nazarene, where they lost 3-2 after leading at the half. A similar story in the second game saw the Saints take a 1-0 lead over Thomas More before falling 2-1. A 3-0 lead over Pikeville in game three was enough to earn the team's first win, 3-1 in the team's only neutral site game.

Stingy Defense: The Siena defense has surrendered no more than five shots on goal in the last nine games this season. The Saints have allowed 19 shots on goal at home, with only two getting into the net.

Opponents have struggled offensively with just a .063 shooting percentage and have only managed to score more than one goal against SHU twice all season.

Setting the Pace: The Saints have dictated play this season, outshooting opponents 185-66.

Versus the Blue Devils: The Saints are 6-2-1 against Lawrence Tech since 2013, including a 5-1 mark at home. When SHU travels to LTU in that time, they are 1-1-1 against the Blue Devils. The Saints haven't played at Lawrence Tech since the 2018 season. That game was a 2-0 loss for Siena Heights.

Versus the Crusaders: The Saints and Crusaders have met 14 times since 2013. In that stretch, Siena Heights holds a 7-6-1 advantage. SHU has struggled when traveling to face Madonna as the Crusaders have claimed five of those seven matchups.

Saints Leaders: Marissa Young leads SHU in goals (7), points (14), and shots on goal (16). Young is also the only player to take a penalty kick this season, a kick she scored on. Emily Broman leads Siena Heights with nine assists, including an impressive four assists in the 5-1 win over IU Kokomo in the home opener. Isabel Remar has put 11 of her 18 shots on goal this year. All four goalkeepers who have seen action this year have recorded a win. Caitlyn Harwood leads the Saint keepers with a  4-1-1 record. She has recorded 16 saves and 0.81 goals against average in 442 minutes of play. Katie Carver is 1-1 after 243 minutes between the pipes. She has six saves and a 1.48 GAA. Rachel Lynch and Kendall Wise are 1-0. Lynch has seen 124 minutes of action, while Wise has had 90 minutes. Both have three saves, with Wise recording a shutout on the season.
