ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's soccer team (7-2-2, 2-0-2 WHAC) tied in a scoreless outing on the road against Lawrence Tech on Wednesday night. The Saints peppered the opposing goal, but the Blue Devils' keeper made seven saves to preserve the tie game.

Marissa Young led the attack with three shots on goal in the contest. Olivia Emert had two shots on goal, while Erin Tyson, Lily Tiplady, and Isabel Remar each had one. The teams entered the locker room with a 3-2 differential in shots on goal after a deadlocked first 45 minutes. Siena Heights pressed in the second as the Saints generated five scoring chances, but LTU did enough to keep the score even.

The tie gives SHU a point toward the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference standings and ties UNOH in third with eight points.

Quote from Coach: "I think we didn't play well enough to win, but we played hard enough to tie. I am proud of our fight, but we have to find a way to have more quality on the road."
