#22 Women's Basketball Set for #21 St. Francis, Concordia and #14 Indiana Tech

The No. 22 Siena Heights women's basketball team is set to take on non-conference opponent, St. Francis (Ind.) on Monday (7 p.m.), before jumping back into Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action as they will face Concordia on Wednesday (6 p.m.) and Indiana Tech on Saturday (1 p.m.).

SHU will look to get back on track this week, as the Saints hosted Spring Arbor and Cornerstone and dropped both contests -- 84-69 and 67-58 respectively.

No. 21 St. Francis (4-1 overall) enters the week with it's only loss coming from fellow WHAC member, Lawrence Tech. This week the Cougars will face Siena Heights before hitting the road to take on Spring Arbor.

Concordia (3-1 overall) will open WHAC play against Siena Heights on Wednesday. The Cardinals have lost to only Indiana-South Bend and will take on the Saints as well as Cornerstone and Lourdes this week.

No. 14 Indiana Tech (5-1 overall) will open WHAC action on Wednesday against Madonna before gearing up for Siena Heights on Saturday. The Warriors' only loss this season comes from No. 1 Marian (Ind.) where ITU dropped the contest 59-50. 

After two games, Demi Russell leads the Saints offense with 11.5 points per game and adds eights rebounds. Sharmaine Wills leads the team on the glass with 10 boards per game. Azalea Miller has dished out a team high, three assists per contest.

The Saints as a team have shot 36.4% from the field and 26.3% from behind the arc. From the charity stripe, Siena Heights has knocked down 65.9% of its attempts.

Next up, Siena Heights will head across town to take on Adrian on Nov. 21. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.
