Upcoming for the Saints: The Siena Heights softball team wraps up the regular season with four WHAC doubleheaders this week. They begin with three home matchups against UM-Dearborn (Wed.), Madonna (Thur), and Cornerstone (Sat), before finishing 2021 with road games against Concordia (Mich.) on Sunday.

Head Coach: Laura Klutsarits is in her 16th season with the Saints. Klutsarits has the most wins in program history with 318. She achieved her 300th win in the WHAC tournament semifinals with a 5-3 win over Indiana Tech.

Defending Champions: The Saints are the defending WHAC Tournament champions as they won the 2019 championship. Siena used wins over Cleary (4-0), Indiana Tech (5-3), and UNOH (6-4) to win the title. Since the WHAC season was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19, the Saints will enter this year's tournament as the defending champs.

Home Sweet Home: Siena Heights softball will be played in its first home games on April 22, 2021. It was the first time since April 24, 2019, that the team was at home. So far in 2021, the Saints are 2-2 inside Christensen Memorial Field. They will finish the season with just 10 games at home.

On The Road: The Saints are 12-8 currently in road contests. Siena has a team batting average of .308 away from home this season. They are outscoring opponents 95-82 in the 20 games. SHU has a 13-1 scoring margin in the 7th-inning and a 3-0 edge in extra innings. Opponents are outscoring the Saints in the 1st-inning (10-6), 3rd-inning (19-16), and the 6th-inning (18-9).

WHAC Rankings: Jordan Green is third in the league in batters struck out per game with 7.22 and total strikeouts with 78. She is second in innings pitched per game with 5.40, fifth in wins with eight, sixth in opponent batting average with .253, and ninth in ERA with 2.87. Sam Hill leads the WHAC in at-bats per game with 3.62. She is fourth in hits per game (1.46) and 10th for batting average with .402. Haley Rose ranks sixth in doubles per game with 0.39 and is tied for eighth with nine 2B.

NAIA Top 10 Rankings: The Saints are fifth in the NAIA in At Bats per game with 29.083. Kat Moreau leads the nation with a perfect fielding percentage (1.000) while Sam Hill is eighth in at-bats per game with 3.625.
