Men's Basketball Prepared for Three Games on the Week

THE GAMES
The Siena Heights men's basketball team travels to Wilberforce (Ohio) at 7 p.m., on Monday, to start the week prior to hosting Lourdes (Ohio) and No. 6 Indiana Tech in two Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contests on Wednesday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 5:30 p.m., respectively.

SHU enters the week with 6-9 overall record and 3-6 conference slate. Recently, Siena Heights fell to Aquinas, 69-64, in WHAC action. The Saints average 70.3 points per game while averaging 46.5% from the floor and 69.4% from the free throw line.

Wilberforce holds a 2-13 overall record, losing to WHAC opponent Northwestern Ohio, 105-89. The Bulldogs average 75.5 points per game with an average shooting percentage of 41.7% from the floor and 65.1% from the line.

The Gray Wolves are 8-10 while holding an 1-8 WHAC record. Lourdes lone conference victory was against UNOH on Jan. 3, winning 64-58. LU averages 70.1 points a game, shooting 41.0% overall and 66.1 from the charity stripe.

In the last NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, Indiana Tech was ranked No. 6 with an overall record of 16-3 and WHAC record of 8-1, the only loss coming from No. 2 (now No. 1) Cornerstone, 83-65. The Warriors manage 81.4 points per game while shooting 48.3% from the floor and 73.5% from the line.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Leading Siena Heights with 14.8 points per game is Tony Jackson II. He also leads the Saints in rebounds (8.1 per game), steals (19 overall), shooting percentage (59.1%) and ties the lead in assists (44) and blocks (13). Nick Randle helps SHU with an average of 12.0 points per game, 44 assists and 18 steals while Keith Jordan Jr. contributes 11.4 points and 5.4 boards per game.

The Bulldogs are led by Lajaune Marshall with 14.3 points a game and 20 steals. Malik Breckenbridge adds 10.4 points per game on average, along with 44 total assists this season.

Malik Thurman leads the Gray Wolves with an average of 11.2 points per game as Clif Snow contributes 10.5 points a game and 40 overall assists.

Indiana Tech has four players who average over 10 points a game, led by Darren Groves with 13.5 and Max Huber with 13.0. Groves also leads the Warriors in rebounds per game (6.7) and overall assists this season (40).
