Richards (60 hurdles), Larder (triple jump) Win Events for #26 Women's T&F at WHAC/MIAA Challenge

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Linnearia Richards and Tiffani Larder won events for the Siena Heights women's indoor track and field team as the Saints placed fourth in team scoring during the WHAC/MIAA Challenge at Aquinas.

Richards won the 60-meter hurdles in 9.15 seconds and Larder stretched 9.53 meters (31 feet, 3 1/4 inches) to win the triple jump. Larder also placed fourth in the long jump with a 4.84m (15-10 1/2).

Tyler Fugate hit an NAIA automatic-qualifying height in the pole vault, although she is already qualified for Nationals. Fugate was runner-up with a 3.57m (11-8 1/2).

Morgan Lutton added a runner-up finish in the high jump (1.64m, 5-4 1/2) and Bailey McCulloch was runner-up in the 800 with a 2:27.92.

Other Top 5 place-winners for SHU included Haley Bell, fourth in the 3,000 with an 11:22.87, and Jocie Berry, fifth in the 60 in 8.21 seconds.

The team also had student-athletes compete in the Grand Valley Big Meet. Faith Jackson hit a provisional time of 8.92 seconds while finishing 18th in the 60 hurdles. She already holds an auto.
