Siena Heights women's track and field athlete Sheila McKinley was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday.

S. McKinley won the pole vault over fellow Saint Tasha McKinley via tiebreaker, as both cleared the bar at 3.80 meters (12 feet, 5 1/2 inches). This vault ranks both at the No. 1 spot in the NAIA and automatically-qualifies them for the NAIA Championships in May.

SHU will return to action at the Golden Grizzles Invite, on Friday and Saturday, hosted by Oakland University.
