Women's Soccer's Cheney, Harwood Named CSC Academic All-America

Siena Heights women's soccer players Parker Cheney and Caitlyn Harwood were selected to the CSC Academic All-America Second Team, as announced by College Sports Communicators on Wednesday.

Harwood, a redshirt-senior, and Cheney, a sophomore, were previously recognized as CSC Academic All-District honorees. Both were also All-WHAC players on the field: Cheney was WHAC Midfielder of the Year and named All-WHAC First Team while Harwood was selected to the Second Team.

Cheney has a 4.0 GPA and Harwood carries a 3.74. The Saints' duo was among 2 of 3 players honored from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.

The Siena Heights women's program has garnered five Academic All-America awards in its history. Along with Cheney and Harwood, the other three to earn awards were Hannah Ulrich (2012), Taylor Mulder (2018) and Isabel Remar (2022).
