RIO GRANDE, Ohio – Siena Heights men's wrestler Randy Frailey earned a pair of dominant wins during non-conference duals against Midway and Rio Grande on Monday.
Frailey was a winner at 133 pounds. He took a 16-0 technical fall over Midway's Tyrique Simms and an 18-second pinfall against Rio's Colin Greenwood.
Wesley Peters was also a double-winner for SHU. The 197-pounder defeated MIsaiah McDougal (Midway) with a 5-2 decision and Ashton Simison (Rio) via pinfall in 1:30.
Other Siena Heights winners included Brandon Rau (174), who earned a 9-8 decision against Midway's Trace Insalaco and Zachary LaPlante (125), who pinned Rio's Lucas Chess in 4:10.
In the team scores, SHU suffered a 35-16 loss to Midway and a 33-24 loss to host Rio Grande.
SHU will be in action next on Thursday, Jan. 12, when it hosts WHAC opponents Lourdes and Cleary at 7 p.m.
