SYLVANIA, OHIO -- The Siena Heights men's wrestling team began the 2021-22 season with a dual at Lourdes on Friday afternoon. In the contest, the Saints (0-1) suffered a 53-4 setback against the Gray Wolves. This was the first dual competition for the SHU men's wrestling program in over 30 years.
Freshman Randy Frailey highlighted the day for Siena as he began his collegiate career with a win by major decision over James Balazy after earning a 16-2 advantage in the score. Frailey's victory cut the Lourdes advantage to 6-4 early on in the meet.
The Gray Wolves won the remainder of the matches to earn the victory. Thirty points were given via no contests, while the home team earned three falls and a technical fall for the remainder of the points.
