On the field during the 2020-21 season, Cirino ranked 5th in the NAIA in goals per game (4.4), 5th in SOG per game (6.5), 6th in points per game (6.1), 12th in shots per game (7.5), 14th in total goals (44), 19th in total shots on goal (65), 23rd in assists per game (1.7), 28th in total shots (75), and 32nd in total assists (17). Marissa led the team in goals (44), assists (17), points (61), shots (75), and shots on goal (65). She was second on the team in ground balls (28). She tied the program record for the most goals in a single game when she tallied 10 goals against Indiana Tech.

"Marissa is a true standout on the lacrosse field but also in the classroom," said SHU women's lacrosse coach Alexa Matta. "Marissa has held a continuous 4.0 GPA while also working an internship, being a fierce competitor and a team captain. Her multiple awards this year show how committed she is as a student-athlete."

The 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America® NAIA At-Large Teams consist of the top 22 women student-athletes from institutions all over the country in the category of At-Large sports. The first team contains three swimming, four lacrosse, two tennis, and two golf. The second team is made up of two golf, one bowling, one competitive dance, three tennis, two swimming, one wrestling, and one lacrosse.

Cirino is the only representative from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) to make the first-team honor. She is one of two juniors to be on the first team and is one of five student-athletes on both All-America teams with a 4.0 GPA.
