Marissa Cirino Named WHAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Siena Heights junior women's lacrosse player Marissa Cirino was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's lacrosse offensive player of the week by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Cirino tied the program record of most goals in a single game with 10 in the win against Indiana Tech this past Saturday. She also tallied one assist, five ground balls, and four draw controls during that game. She ranks 3rd in Division I in Goals/Game (5.000, 13th in Division I in Pts/Game (5.670), 17th in Division I in Shots/Game (7.670), 17th in Division I in SOG/Game (6.000), and 28th in Division I in Total Goals (15).

This is Cirino's second WHAC player of the week award of her collegiate career and the first team's honor of the season.

Cirino will lead the Saints against Concordia tomorrow, March 23rd for a WHAC matchup that beings at 7:00 PM.
