Siena Heights women's lacrosse junior Marissa Cirino (Canton, Mich.) was selected the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's lacrosse offensive player of the week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Cirino had an unbelievable week for the Saints. She began by breaking the school record for points in a single game with a 12-point outing as she scored eight goals and earned four assists with the 19-9 win over Ava Marie (Fla.). She ended it by adding four goals and two assists in a 20-10 win over Franciscan on Saturday.
This is the first WHAC offensive player of the week award of Cirino's collegiate career.
The Saints return to action this Wednesday, March 11th as they travel to face Albion at 6:30 p.m., EST.
