Farmington Hills, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team lost a close game to Lawrence Tech 14-10.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lawrence Tech was able to come out and put up three goals in a row against SHU to open the game up. Siena would get on the scoreboard when Katherine Tapia scored on a free position shot to make the game 3-1. After another goal by LTU Alexis Nicole scored for SHU to make it a 4-2 game. The Blue Devils scored two more goals to make it 6-2 shortly after. With 10:30 left in the first half Nicole would score again to make it 6-3. LTU adding another goal with 8 minutes left to play, then Samantha Pawlowski scored two goals in a row for SHU to make it a 7-5 match heading into halftime.
Lawrence Tech scored first in the second half but then Jenna Sommerville scored twice in a row to cut down the Saints deficit to one goal. Back to back goals by the Blue Devils happened but Natalie Williams responded by scored a goal for Siena to make it a 10-8 game. LTU answered right back with another goal then Nicole scored for SHU with 16:33 left to play in the game making the score 11-9. Lawrence tech however would score three more goals to put the Saints out of reach.
