Women's Lacrosse Falls in Overtime

Laurinburg, N.C. - The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team dropped their season opener in dramatic fashion Sunday. The Saints lost a back and forth, 20-19, overtime 'goalfest' with Saint Andrews on Sunday afternoon. 

Erin Kehn not only scored the goal that sent the game into overtime, but she led the Saints with six goals and an assist.  Sabrina Snow added five goals in the season opener. Sydney VanHoose added three goals, Aliisa Mason and Cynthia Bradford both scored two, and Stephannie Gonzalez added one.

Tabitha Ferguson made 21 saves in the net to keep the Saints in the game.  

The Saints (0-1 overall) will return to action on Tuesday when they play at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
