Five Siena Heights women's golfers received Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's golf awards as announced by the league office on Thursday (May 14). Jaclyn Fanola (junior | Monroe, Mich.) and Dakota Spears (junior | Hudsonville, Mich.) were selected to the second-team All-WHAC. Gabrielle Anderson (senior | Fraser, Mich.), Mya Price (junior | South Lyon, Mich.), Madisyn Reed (senior | Adrian, Mich.), and Spears were on the all-academic team. Anderson was the team's representative on the Champions of Character team.
Fanola finished the season with the second-best average on the team with an 84.20. Her season-low score of 77 was the second-best score of the year. She had three finishes in the top-three as an individual during the fall 2019 season.
Spears adds a second-team All-WHAC selection to her accomplishments for this year. Spears recently won the Thomas Emmet Sr. Award during the Siena Heights convocation. Spears finished the 2019-20 season with an 86.50 average score and a low score of 76, tied for the team best.
Anderson returns as an all-academic team member. She had a season average of 96.83 and a season-low 86. Anderson finished ninth at the Cardinal Invitational on September 16, 2019.
Price finished the year with an average score of 93.57 and a low score of 83. Price finished in the top-10 as an individual in the Cardinal Invitational in September.
Reed returns on the all-academic team this season. She was a second-team All-WHAC member last year. This season she led the team with an average score of 82.50 and a season-low score of 81.
