Women's Bowling Finishes Seventh at AHIBC Championships

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio -- At Beaver-Vu Lanes, the Saints women competed in the AHIBC Championships on Sunday. The tournament was an eliminator-style event: all varsity teams bowl 20 Baker games, then the field is trimmed to the top eight teams. Another four Bakers games are bowled and the field is cut in half; this continues until one team is left standing.

Competing on the 44-foot, 2012 European Championships patter, the women's team had Baker sets of: 741, 713, 735, 670, 771. The team finished in 7th place and make the first cut. The next four Baker games were 183, 163, 181, and 197. Unfortunately, this was not enough to make the next cut and the team finished in 7th place.

The team travels to Ft. Wayne for the WHAC Championships on Saturday, Mar. 3. Start time is 11:00am.
