Addyson Tomczak and Haley Hoffman Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete for Women's Basketball Division II

KANSAS CITY -- Siena Heights women's basketball junior Addyson Tomczak (Bay City, Mich.) and senior Haley Hoffman (Warren, Mich.) was selected 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes for women's basketball division II as announced by the national office.

This is both Tomczak and Hoffman's first time being named NAIA scholar-athletes in their career. The 2019 list features 312 women's basketball student-athletes that have achieved at least a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.

Among WHAC member schools, Indiana Tech had the most student-athletes make the list with seven selections. Rochester totaled the second-most with six. Aquinas, Concordia (Mich.), Cornerstone, Lourdes, Siena Heights, and Michigan-Dearborn all had two student-athletes on the list. Lawrence Tech finished off the WHAC representation with one athlete making the cut.
