ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team hosted Lawrence Tech in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest on Saturday. The Saints were able to fininsh their third straight win with a score of 89-75.

After the first period, the Saints and Blue Devils were separated by one point with a score of 22-21, SHU with the lead. Siena Heights was able to create more separation after the second quarter and went into halftime with a score of 47-39.

SHU was able to pull away even more throughout the third quarter and eventually reached a 20 point advantage with 7:01 left in the game. The Saints were able to walk away with the convincing victory and their third straight conference win.

Hot shooting by Jaaliyah Arrington led SHU with 27 points on 5-9 shooting from three. Siena Heights was helped by April Watson, Clara Waidley and Sharmaine Wills, adding 17, 15 and 13 points respectively. Wills was the Saints leader with 13 rebounds.

LTU was led by Nicole Buckingham with 34 points. Buckingham and Hayley Walkowski each finished with four rebounds.

The Saints will be back in action on Sunday, Dec. 18, when they travel to Puerto Rico to compete in a holiday tournament.
