
ADRIAN, Mich. -- Zak Tucker broke the school record for career aces as the Siena Heights men's volleyball team swept cross-town rival Adrian in non-conference action on Wednesday night. Set scores were 25-22, 25-23, 25-22.
Tucker had six aces, reaching 125 for his career, to break the previous mark set by Tyler Hubbard-Neil, who had 124 in 2015-18. Tucker also had 27 assists in the win over AC.
Daniel Rua led the Saints (8-7) with 13 kills while Dominic Rees added 10. Jonathan Stovring put down seven kills.
Siena Heights broke a 20-20 tie in the opening set, scoring 5 of the final 7 points to take a 1-0 match lead.
SHU trailed 23-22 in the second before winning the set with three straight points.
In the third, SHU led 9-8 before pulling away with a 6-1 run.
The Saints will return to action on Tuesday, Mar. 18, with a 7 p.m. WHAC home match at Lawrence Tech.
