KANSAS CITY -- Five members of the Siena Heights men's track and field team were named to the 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete list. Austin Siterlet, Brent Rodden, Garret Young, Matt Lentine, and Michael March were among the 341 men's track and field student-athletes to earn this award.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
The list comprised of 30 student-athletes representing schools from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC). 18 of those selections came from Aquinas and Indiana Tech who had nine scholar-athletes each. Siena Heights and Madonna each had five honorees and Concordia (Mich.) finished things off with two student-athletes on the list.
