Siena Heights men's field athlete Robert Drew was tabbed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's outdoor field athlete of the week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Drew highlighted the SHU men's outing at the Cedarville Yellow Jacket Collegiate Outdoor Open with a win in the shot put with an "A-Standard" throw of 16.03m (52' 7.25"). That mark is currently the eighth-best mark for shot put in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

This is the first WHAC weekly honor for Drew this outdoor season and the second during the 2018-19 academic year (he was named WHAC field athlete of the week in February for the indoor season). He was also named WHAC field athlete back in 2016 indoor season.
