GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's track and field team finished fifth at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships with 73 points. Brent Rodden was one of two champions earning a spot of the first team All-WHAC team for the Saints. He won the 800-meter run with a "B" standard time of 1:56.45. Robert Drew was the other champ for Siena with a 16.73m (54' 10.75") throw in the weight toss. The mark was a "B" standard in the weight toss event.
The 4x400 relay team of Jordan Parkinson, Matt Lentine, William Jackson, Brent Rodden finished second with a time of 8:03.54 to earn a second team all-conference. Robert Drew added to his day with a third-place finish in the shot put with a heave of 15.25m (50' 0.5"), a "B" standard.
Brenden Knoll was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 15.05m (49' 4.5"). Tyler Ross added a fifth-place mark in the shot put with a toss of 14.98m (49' 1.75"). Robert Milton finished fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 12.78m (41' 11.25").
Naythan Haslam (400m, 51.58) and Andrew Trombley (pole vault, 3.85m [12' 7.5"]) each finished sixth in their respective events. Robert Milton also finished seventh in both the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.67 and the long jump, 6.33m (20' 9.25"). Matt Lentine (600m, 1:28.76) and Savion Tyler (high jump, 1.89m [6' 2.25"]) each finished seventh in their events.
