Siena Heights men's track and field athlete Robert Drew was tabbed as the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's field athlete of the week as announced by the league office. 

The senior from Saugatuck, Michigan recorded two "A" standard marks in the shot put (16.28m [53' 5"]) and the weight throw (17.38m [56' 11.5"]) to obtain a fifth-place finish in both events, the highest finish of any NAIA student-athlete in those events. These marks currently put Drew in the top-10 in the weight throw and 13th in the shot put. 

This is Drew's first athlete of the week selection this season and the second of his career (Jan. 18, 2016).
