The Siena Heights men's throwers competed at the Grand Valley State University Open on Friday, January 25 and the Defiance College Invitational on Saturday while the rest of the team were at the 2019 SPIRE Midwest Open on Saturday.

Robert Drew finished 5th in the shot put at GVSU with a provisional toss of 15.64m (51' 3.75"). He finished the week with a win at Defiance the following day with an auto mark of 16.06m (52' 8.25"). He added a fourth-place finish in the weight throw with a 16.04m (52' 7.5") lob.

Tyler Ross was fourth in the shot put with a heave of 13.97m (45' 10").

Brent Rodden won the 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.25, an automatic-qualifying mark.

Rees Nemeth cleared the bar at 4.58m (15' 0.25") in the pole vault to win the event at SPIRE.
