Siena Heights men's track and field athlete Brent Rodden was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week, as announced on Monday.

At the Bellarmine Invitational on Friday, Rodden took first place in the 800 meter run as he crossed the finish line in 1:52.53 over a second faster than the second place performer, finishing in 1:53.81. In his first race of the season, Rodden earned a provisional-qualifing time and currenlty ranks fifth in the NAIA.

The Saints will return to action on Friday and Saturday at the Golden Grizzlies Invite hosted by Oakland University.
