Five Siena Heights men's soccer players were named Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the governing body on Friday.
The lone senior honoree for SHU was senior Rhabar Khan while first-time honorees include juniors Elmedin Celovic, Matt Lentine, Brent Rodden and Matt Wilkie.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor. A total of 492 men's soccer players were honored.
