Men's Lacrosse Earns First WHAC Win of 2024

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team earned its first WHAC win of the season with a 13-8 victory over Taylor on Wednesday at O'Laughlin Stadium.

Eric Csizmadia, Joey Keck, Brandon Hammer, Nathan Staley and Dillon Baldwin scored two goals each for the Saints (4-6, 1-2). Sean Jablonski, Ethan Wissink and Lachlan Conway added goals.

Conway made four assists and Devin Plemmons had two. Csizmadia and Keck also had assists.

In the faceoff circle, Fernando Robison went 18 of 25 with 14 groundballs. Wissink finished with four caused turnovers and three GBs on the defensive side.

In goal, Jakob Moske totaled 18 saves for the win.

The Saints had trailed 4-2 at halftime before rallying for an 11-4 second half.

SHU will return to action on Saturday with a 4 p.m. game against WHAC opponent Lawrence Tech.
