SHU Men’s Lacrosse Sweeps WHAC Weekly Awards for Second-Straight Week

ADRIAN, Mich. – For the second-consecutive week, Siena Heights juniors Eric Csizmadia and Fernando Robison were named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's lacrosse offensive and defensive players of the week when the league office announced the weekly award winners on Monday afternoon.

Csizmadia led the Saints this past week with 14 points. His nine goals were second-most on the team, and his five assists tied for first. The Clarkston, Michigan native is currently ranked in the top five in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) in goals (4th), points (5th), and shots (5th).

Robison began the week with a 13-27 showing in the faceoff circle while also compiling eight groundballs for Siena in the 13-12 win over Lourdes. On Saturday, he was a force against Taylor as he won 22 of his 24 faceoffs while hauling in 19 ground balls. In addition, he scored a breakaway goal off a faceoff in the 16-4 win over the Trojans.

This is the second WHAC weekly award for Csizmadia and Robison. The awards are the fourth and fifth weekly league awards for the SHU men's lacrosse team this season.

This Wednesday, April 6, the Saints return to action when they host the 10th-ranked Lawrence Tech Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m.
