Saints Sweep WHAC Men’s Lacrosse Awards

ADRIAN, Mich. – Juniors Eric Csizmadia and Fernando Robison were awarded the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's lacrosse offensive and defensive players of the week when the league office released the weekly award winners this afternoon.

Csizmadia tallied a career-high nine points with eight goals, including the game-winning score and an assist in the 22-2 win over Cleary. Csizmadia also led SHU with 14 shots and caused two turnovers.

Robison led SHU with 15 ground balls in the win over Cleary. He was also the leading faceoff man for the Saints, winning 19 of the 20 faceoffs for the week.

This is the first WHAC weekly award for Csizmadia and Robison in their collegiate careers and the second and third weekly awards for the SHU men's lacrosse team this season (Jake Gallaher won offensive player of the week last week).

The Saints return to action with a road contest against Lourdes this Wednesday, March 30, at 7:00 p.m.
