Jake Gallaher Earns Second WHAC Offensive Player of the Week Nod

Siena Heights men's lacrosse freshman Jake Gallaher was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's lacrosse offensive player of the week the league office announced on Monday afternoon. 

Gallaher led the Saints to a 2-0 week after netting a hat trick in both games. In the week's first game, a 10-9 overtime win over Lourdes, Jake tallied three goals and two assists. He followed that performance up with a dominant display on the road against Taylor in which he scored three times and dished seven assists to lead the team in points on the way to the 21-10 victory. 

The Fenton, Michigan native also contributed on defense with 18 ground balls and a caused turnover on the week. In the faceoff circle, he was 12-29.

This is Gallaher's second WHAC offensive player of the week honor this season.

The Saints travel to face Lawrence Tech on Wednesday, April 17. The game is set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
