Siena Heights men's lacrosse freshman Jake Gallaher was selected the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference men's lacrosse offensive player of the week as announced by the league office this afternoon.
Gallaher had a phenomenal first week of the season as he leads the Saints with 11 goals through the first two games. Currently, Gallaher is accounting for almost 41% of the team's scoring and is currently on pace to finish with 66 goals this season. He also added one assist for the second-most points on the team with 12.
On the defensive side of the ball, Gallaher has collected eight groundballs, second-most on the team, and also has three caused turnovers. He is 8-14 in faceoffs so far this season.
The Saints host Missouri Baptist this Thursday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m. EST.
