The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced the 2020 men's golf awards on Thursday (May 14). Three Saint men's golfers were on the list as Aaron Bitz (senior | Monroe, Mich.) and Nate Hamilton (junior | Plymouth, Mich.) was named to the all-academic team while James Monteith (senior | Dearborn, Mich.) was the SHU representative on the Champions of Character Team.
Bitz is a two-sport athlete as he also competes on the Siena Heights Esports Rocket League team. He is a returning all-academic team member as he made the squad last season as well. Aaron finished the 2019-20 season with an average of 80.67, second-best on the team, and a low of 76 on the year.
Hamilton makes his first appearance on the WHAC All-Academic team. He completed the 2019-20 season with an average score of 85 and he had a season-low score of 85.
Monteith averaged an 82.80 and had a season-low 74, second-best on the team.
