JACKSON, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team improved to a sixth place finish at the second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree of the season, on Saturday.
The Saints' top finisher was Jimmy Monteith with a 71, one-under par, to tie for sixth place. Nick Sanscrainte tied for 19th with a 75. The final two scorers for Siena Heights was Aaron Bitz and Dominic Dimaya, ending with an 80 and 83. Individual winner was Reece Blair from Northwestern Ohio with a 68.
UNOH won the tournament with a 284 overall, only one stroke ahead of Lawrence Tech and three ahead of Madonna. The Saints tied with Cornerstone at a team score of 309.
Next up, the Saints will travel to the Jon P. Speiss Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
