Combs Ties for Medalist Honors as Men's Golf win Trine's Gettig Invite

ANGOLA, Ind. -- Tim Combs tied for medalist honors while three other Siena Heights men's golfers -- Nick Campbell, Parker Ross and Josh Short -- also finished in the Top 10 individually as the Saints placed first at Trine's Bill Gettig Invitational. The event, which featured 56 golfers from seven teams, took place at Zollner Golf Course.

Combs finished with an even-par 71 while Campbell had a one-over 72. Parker Ross added a three-over 74. Short was also three over at 74 as a member of SHU's 'B' team.

Joe Forest added a five-over 76 to the SHU 'A' team score.

Combs tied with Adrian's Jordan Juday for the medalist accolade.

The Siena Heights 'A' squad had a team score of 293 and was followed, in order, by Trine, Ind. (301), Adrian (306), Olivet (310), Kalamazoo (324) and Lourdes, Ohio (332).
