GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Siena Heights golfers Nick Campbell and Alex Willnow were among six golfers that tied for second individually as the Saints' men's team tied for fourth at the second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference jamboree, which took place at The Highlands.
Campbell and Willnow carded one-over-par 72s on the 6,465-yard layout, finishing five strokes behind the day's top golfer, Keith Long of Northwestern Ohio (67).
Tim Combs and Joe Forest added 81s to tie for 34th.
SHU had a team score of 306, tying with Indiana Tech, and finishing behind UNOH (288), Davenport (291) and Madonna (301).
Through two WHAC events, the Saints sit alone in fourth place with a score of 621. They trail Davenport (588), Northwestern Ohio (597) and Cornerstone (612).
Siena Heights will return to competition on Friday and Saturday at Spring Arbor's Bill Bockwitz Invitational.
